Edible and Ornamental Fishes
At our farm, fish farming takes precedence, with a specific focus on cultivating fresh tilapia and sea bass for edible consumption. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality seafood produced in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. Our commitment to raising fish without antibiotics ensures that our products are not only delicious but also meet the highest standards of health and safety. By prioritizing responsible aquaculture practices, we aim to deliver fresh, flavorful fish while minimizing our impact on the ecosystem.
Recirculating Aquaculture System
Dive into Sustainable Aquaculture with our Tech-Savvy RA System! At GreenLand Farm, we’re passionate about raising healthy fish while minimizing our environmental footprint. Aquaculture tanks and multiple open water reservoirs are served by a closed recirculation aquaculture system (RAS). To conserve water, the facility makes sure that it is aerated, treated, and circulated.
A Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) is an advanced method of fish farming that continuously filters and reuses water within the system. This technology is designed to create a controlled environment for aquatic organisms, where waste products such as ammonia and nitrates are removed through biological and mechanical filtration processes. The purified water is then recirculated back into the fish tanks, significantly reducing water usage compared to traditional aquaculture methods. This efficient use of water makes RAS a sustainable choice, allowing for the cultivation of fish in areas where water resources are limited.
One of the key benefits of RAS is its ability to maintain optimal water quality and conditions, which are crucial for the health and growth of the fish. By closely monitoring and adjusting parameters such as temperature, pH, and oxygen levels, RAS can support a higher stocking density and improve fish growth rates and overall productivity. Additionally, the closed-loop nature of RAS minimizes the risk of disease outbreaks and prevents the escape of farmed species into the wild, protecting local ecosystems. As a result, RAS represents a sustainable and efficient solution for modern aquaculture, promoting environmental stewardship while meeting the growing demand for high-quality seafood.
Fresh Tilapia and Sea Bass
This system conserves water by continuously treating and reusing it, reducing our reliance on freshwater resources, and maintaining optimal conditions for fish like Sea bass, Tilapia, and vibrant ornamental varieties by precisely controlling water quality.
